Will continues to support the Earthbeat Theatre Group and their efforts to secure the former Guisborough Register Office as their new home and today he brought Culture Minister, Ed Vaisey to meet the Group
Ed Vaizey suggested Redcar & Cleveland's Labour Council had been 'shortsighted' in favouring a pub chain over a theatre group. The Minister for Culture commented “If the council was more imaginative they would see that giving Earthbeat a permanent home would benefit the whole town. This charity has saved £200,000 to convert the building and have a cinema there for the whole community. It would help attract longer-term investment off the back of it.”
